Work sucks.....

ok first off.. my apologies.. for the lack of updates. I've been acting supervisor at work.. and working 12hr shifts. I hate work. Seriously. completely. all those other -ly words.

Well a really good idea went kerplop due to people not being able to see past their own "me me me" syndrome. SFP.. i swear. the population of vana'diel amuses me and saddens me. Well alot of them do. I guess the old saying holds true. "Common sense isn't very common."

So things have been going well... other than the random stupidity. Lol I haven't been keeping up with who got what when and where.

LP has actually been getting claims.. kinda surprised there. But meh. Oh well. I still haven't figured out why they love that damn Turtle. I mean... its a turtle.. for cryin out loud.

On a completely unrelated note. Allergies suck.

Missing from Camps...

So yeah. Didn't make it to any camps today. Was out with an IRL friend that I wont get to see again for quite a while... and a new friend type person that is with her. ^_^ And we went to a movie... and went out to eat... o_o!!! The graphics irl are astounding.. oh wait.. did I just say that... Um... hehe.

Saw Lady in the Water again. Good movie. I recommend it. It is Kiwi Approved. And Mexican food rocks.

Early Morning Post

AKA Insomnia struck again...

Ok well I'll start out by saying Turtles need to die.. but are very yummy candy. LOL. We got da turtle... and it died... fast... its a turtle for cryin out loud...

Moving on... Fafnir.. was fun to watch. ED got claim, oh well theres always tonight, and almost flailed themselves due to a MB'd Thundaga III. WTG! They got the Darters slept... and then BAM! another Thundaga III... woke all the sleeping flies up. If you're going to watch another LS kill a mob... at least ED had the courtesy of giving us all a damn good show. ^_^

Had to have been the most entertaining camp I've been to in a while.

So camps are over... I go check on my chocobo... and feed her.. ^^ No drama there... and get a /tell... "D2 [Can I have it?] [Help me out!]" now this person either A) doesn't know that Warp II is a lvl 40 BLM spell... or b) Thinks I have magical access to powers beyond that of a WHM75/BLM37... >.> People make me sad...

I fully expect to fall asleep at work today at some point. I still haven't slept yet as I'm writing this... so later today... it will probably change into something that makes more sense. Hehe.

On a fully side related note... I learned the difference between South and South-West in a very painful way(to my buffer) last night in Dynamis-Qufim. After getting myself dead in an unrecoverable spot... and eating a homepoint... Guess what... South is NOT South-West. *is so directionally challanged*

More to come later... as I write posts at work... at least my boss thinks I'm working that way. It's more entertaining than playing FreeCell all day.

Chocobo Fever

So who all has started raising a baby Chocobo… What egg did you use… Did you get a girl or boy…. What’d you name him/her….

Chocobo fever has swept the wide world of Vana’diel as Square Enix decided there weren’t enough virtual pets in the world already. It is my firm belief that no matter WHAT you do.. your chick is going to get sick at least once. At least they are completely adorable. I mean… come on… who can resist those big brown eyes… ^_^

My baby chick is a completely cute baby girl… named Chaos Incarnate(if ya knew me… you’d understand….) who is currently 12 days old and seems to enjoy listening to music and is very patient. And when I checked on her this morning before work she had high spirits.

So far… the CSs for “Listening to Music” and “Rest” are the cutest.

If anyone who reads this… which I’m actually hoping someone does… so I’m not just rambling… anyways.. if anyone who reads this decides they would like to /befriend me… feel free to! ^_^ I love meeting new people. And making new friends.

Tusdays news..

Ok, So Fafnir went off without anyone trying to kill each other. Not that they wouldn’t have tried… But don’t we all love /blockaid on.

Was a decent fight to watch… We didn’t get claim… but there’s always tonight. ^_^ and if not tonight then tomorrow. It’s not the end of the world it’s a computer game.

On THAT note… why does everyone automatically assume someone is botting because they get a lot of claims? Seriously confuses me… I know for a fact that if you have a superior computer… aka faster processor, more ram, faster connection. The faster connection part especially. If PersonX has a 10MB connection, and PersonZ has a 5MB connection. GUESS WHAT!! PersonX is going to see the mob first. That doesn’t mean X is cheating. Or botting. Or hacking. They have a better computer. Don’t like it? Upgrade yours. Why is it dirty? Because it’s not clean…. Very simple. (inside joke… nevermind)

I think I gave the wrong impression in my last post. I am not cynical. I am not mean-spirited. I just don’t feel like reading other people negativity. If I do.. I’ll go to KI and start reading the “we hate ” threads. I love Fairy I really do. As a server we have some of the best players as was proven in the recent Ballista Royale. A team from Fairy won.

We also have some of the worst. And I don’t mean the countless hundreds who are either starting the game or just still don’t know how to play. I mean the select groups who just don’t care about other people. Or step on who ever it takes to accomplish their goals. Or just have bad attitudes/rude personalities.

That is what makes the server fun and interesting. It is a fair mix of both. No one is going to get along with everyone all the time. Most people I’ve encountered so far play this game to have fun. Imagine that. LoL playing a game to have fun. The insanity of it all!

As a player I try to keep fair / honorable dealings with everyone I meet in game. That’s just me. Granted I very capable of annoying the hell out of people… and/or getting them upset at me. I try not to though… It doesn’t serve any other purpose than to cause angst between others and there are much more important things I could be doing… Like crafting! >.> ^.^ Or helping with a mission or a quest or leveling… you get the point.

So let’s see… Nothing really –interesting- happened at the two King camps I was at last night… Turtle was… well Turtle. That camp lacks any drama at all. Congrats to Kujin for getting 75 back though! I had wondered if it were boredom that was causing y’all to kill all the mobs in the camp area. o_o

Fafnir went smoother than I had anticipated. And thank the stars above it wasn’t a last window pop…again. That dragon just does NOT like coming out to play.

Didn’t make it to KB… Oh well.

Ok so I've reconsidered my original theory. I'm going to post randomly about HNM drama and other amusing/stupid/etc stuff that I see in game.

Let me introduce myself.

A Dynamis shell(SemperFi) thank you Maru for introducing and encouraging CD members to apply! Dynamis is fun! ^_^
And an HNM/Sky LS(UnlimitedPower) which I have no problem with their particually bad rep. Does this make the entire LS bad? Evil? If you believe KI... well most of it.. then yeah. LOL

However I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that most of you don't believe every post on KI. I'm really hoping at least.

I'm a White Mage.. Level 75... yada yada yada...

Going to ramble a bit about things ad linkshells.

I love my social. They are one of the most organized groups I've found. When they want to be. <3 TCD! They seriously are a fun LS. Lots of events and helpful friendly people... and yeh... they are my home in game. A shell I've been in almost 1.5 years now and counting.

SemperFi...Well Dynamis is fun.. and I'm proud to go with a LS that knows what the hell they are doing.

UnlimitedPower... famous? infamous? Fun. Thanks for showin me that there are amusing things to do at end game. LoL. I enjoy camps and Sky cause well ya'll make me me laugh ^_^ And ya'll are damn good at what you do. A reputation in this game is important to some. Thanks also for not treating it like a second job. ^^

For those that don't like UP. And are going to flame me for being in the LS.. please save me the trouble of deleting your comment and take a long walk OUTside... away from the game... ok now breathe in... breathe out... and say it with me... "FFXI is not real... It's only a game..."
